3 Days to Hollinger Park Gig / Third Artist Bio: Steven Alcock

Posted on July 28th, 2014   No Comments

Steven 1

This Wednesday at 6PM, Steven Alcock joins Chris & Devon Aitken again (for the third time) at the Timmins Summer Concert Series, at Hollinger Park pavilion. Steven Alcock is 19, and has been playing for seven years in all, six of those years with Chris at Shiny Pine Music (including his work with “The Authentics”). He likes playing bluesy solos, inspired by guitarists like Eric Clapton and Angus Young. He has steadily grown from bare-bones open chord playing to accurate performance of classic solos, and some of his own improvisation.

Bonus # 3 to you for coming to this Wednesday’s performance at Hollinger Park pavilion: Hear Steven play a cool guitar part on Chris’ song, “Release Me”.
